• Fill in the Visa Application Form and sign personally.
  (The blank form can either be faxed or posted upon request).
• Enclose two recent passport photos.
• Enclose USD $50 (fifty dollars) as Visa Fee.
  (Cheque or money order payable to the The Embassy  of the Islamic State of Afghanistan).
• Enclose passport.
  (If you need your passport for other purposes while your visa application is under process, please send a copy of the main pages. Once your application is approved, you will be asked to send your original passport for the visa to be issued.)
• Enclose a stamped self addressed envelope or pre-paid courier pouch for return of passport.
• Send all the above items to:

• The visa application of a foreign national must be approved by the Afghan Foreign Affairs Ministry. This will normally take up to two weeks.

The Consulate section of the Embasy issues new passport to the nationals of Afghanistan.
Applicants are required to:

• Send at least one document proving their Afghan nationality eg; National Identity Card (Tazkara), old Afghan passport, Polish visa etc…
• Fill in the Passport Application Form. The form could downloaded by clicking here, or posted or faxed.
• Send two passport photographs
• A cheque/ money order in US dollar, equivalent to US$104. The cheque/money order should be in the name of the Embassy of the Islamic State of Afghanistan

Consulate section of the Embassy advises applicants to send their documents via registered mail.

Please allow at least one week for processing the application.
